Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is enjoying a day off for the Toronto Blue Jays and his teammates are having a blast with him in the dugout.

For the Toronto Blue Jays, even when superstar slugger Vladimir Guerrero Jr. isn’t in the lineup, he still finds a way to steal the show. In this case, though, it’s his teammates who are deciding to have plenty of fun with him.

With Guerrero in the middle of a rest day, he thought he could just chill out and enjoy the show. Blue Jays players had another idea, though, as they’ve hilariously decided to tape him to the dugout.

With Toronto holding a lead over the Royals too, it only makes things even better here for the Blue Jays. Guerrero doesn’t seem to mind what’s going on, as he’s being a good sport about things and has a smile on his face. Talk about having a blast in the dugout.

Before this went down, Guerrero was busy congratulating Marcus Semien after the infielder hit a two-run homer. There was absolutely no chance Guerrero was going to sit back and not have Semien put on the ‘dinger jacket’ after he went yard.

Things are going great for the Blue Jays right now, as they’re hoping to push for a Wild Card spot this year. Guerrero is having an unreal season too, as he’s in the AL MVP conversation. This spring and summer, the standout is hitting .327 with 33 homers and 83 RBI.

Every time he’s at the plate, Guerrero has the potential to hit a dinger. There are few things that sound better than when he makes sweet contact with the lumber. Things are only going to get better for Guerrero moving forward.
