Seattle needs to do what it takes to keep K.J. Wright in a Seahawks uniform

If there is any player Wilson and the Seahawks would want to bring back for 2021, it would have to be free-agent outside linebacker K.J. Wright. While middle linebacker Bobby Wagner has been the cornerstone of Carroll’s defense for several years now, Wright has been a phenomenal running mate for him for the last decade. To think he has spent his entire NFL career with the Seahawks.

Wright has most recently visited the Las Vegas Raiders in his extended free agency. This is significant before former Seahawks defensive coordinator Gus Bradley is in his first year leading the Silver and Black’s defense. The Raiders need a massive upgrade on that side of the ball, and the quickest way for them to do that is to let Bradley get his type of players onto their roster.

If Wright signs elsewhere in his free agency, his loss will be felt on the Seattle defense from the jump. This is why he has to be the one player Wilson will want to have back in Seattle uniform above all else. Though he will be 32-years-old this season, Wright would be the most impactful player of his former teammates on this list who could be making their return to the Seahawks.

What other former Seahawks should Seattle seriously consider bringing back this summer?
