Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers expressed his love for former teammate Charles Woodson as he was fitted with his gold jacket at the Hall of Fame.

With Packers legend Charles Woodson getting set for induction into the NFL Hall of Fame this weekend, quarterback Aaron Rodgers made sure to give him love.

Rodgers sent a tweet expressing what he feels about Woodson in just three emojis.

GOAT. GOAT. GOAT.

The video Rodgers quote tweeted shows Woodson receiving his gold jacket as a member of the NFL Hall of Fame.

Rodgers has been unequivocal about his esteem for Woodson as a player. Heā€™s called him the best heā€™s ever played with alongside receiver Davante Adams.

ā€œ[His] instincts are completely unmatched to any player Iā€™ve ever played with,ā€ Rodgers said, via Lily Zhao of FOX6.

Aaron Rodgers praised former teammate Charles Woodson.

Woodson and Rodgers arrived in Green Bay not so far apart. The Packers drafted the quarterback in 2005 and added the All-Pro defensive back from the Raiders in 2006. The two played together until Woodsonā€™s departure following the 2012 season.

Together, they helped lead the Packers to Super Bowl glory in 2011.

While in Green Bay, Woodson went to the Pro Bowl four times and garnered All-Pro honors twice. He started 100 games in seven years with the franchise, winning the NFL AP Defensive Player of the Year award in 2009.

Woodson retired after 18 years in the league in 2015 at the age of 39.

Rodgers is likely to end up with a gold jacket himself someday. His career is still going strong even though his relationship with the Packers is now strained.

Next. Packers should trade for James Washington. dark
