Liverpool vs Burnley opens Matchweek 2 of the Premier League season. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the game online.

Matchweek 2 of Premier League action kicks off with Liverpool looking to keep up the good feelings from their opening match and Burnley hoping to spoil their party.

Burnley have been surprisingly competitive against Liverpool in their recent meetings. The Reds enjoyed a 3-0 victory in May, but in January, Burnley snatched a 1-0 victory while they drew 1-1 in 2020.

The Clarets started their own season with a bang, scoring a goal two minutes into their game against Brighton & Hove Albion. However, it went downhill from there as Brighton grabbed two goals in a five-minute span in the second half.

Liverpool team news

Liverpool fans were ecstatic to see Virgil Van Dijk and Joel Matip healthy enough to feature in the opening game. Now the wait is for the likes of Fabinho, Thiago Alcantara, Jordan Henderson and others to join them. The former came on as a sub against Norwich, so he may be close to being inserted into the lineup. The latter two may not appear just yet, though it is possible.

Curtis Jones is expected to be healthy enough to make the bench but Andy Robertson will remain out.

Burnley team news

Burnley could get defender Kevin Long and midfielders Dale Stephens back after the two missed the opener. The big question is whether defender Nathan Collins will feature after completing his move from Stoke.
