Mark Magsayo knocks Julio Ceja out cold in round 10 (video)

Mark Magsayo was getting worked by Julio Ceja on the undercard of Pacquiao vs. Ugás, but he erupted in round 10 for a scary knockout victory. 

The was some great early action on the Aug. 21 undercard of Manny Pacquiao vs. Yordenis Ugás, but Mark Magsayo deserves knockout of the night honors after his round 10 one-hitter-quitter of Julio Ceja.

This fight was explosive early. Magsayo dropped Ceja in round 1 of their featherweight contest, but Ceja got up and regained his sense, and boxed his way back into the fight.

Ceja (32-5-1, 18 KOs), 28, of Mexico, invested to the body and hurt Magsayo with an accumulation of shots. A left hook to the liver dropped Magsayo in round 5. Magsayo got up but gave up the next few rounds, and he looked tender in his midsection.

Mark Magsayo showed his explosive power with a round 10 KO of Julio Ceja

Magsayo (23-0,16 KOs), 26, of the Philippines, started to box better in round 8. He started to bounce on his toes and move around the ring.

Magsayo looked re-energized to start round 10, and that’s when he caught Ceja sleeping. He delivered a right to Ceja’s jaw that knocked him out on his feet. Magsayo delivered another right that made Ceja crash to the canvas unconscious.

It was a scary knockout, but Ceja did regain consciousness. Magasayo escaped danger and showed his character in the ring while delivering a sensational round 10 KO.
