The fight was a bit of a roller coaster ride in terms of the entertainment value, but Twitter had plenty to say after the back-and-forth war between Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley. Paul remains undefeated in his professional boxing career with a split-decision victory over the former UFC champion Woodley.
After weeks and months of back-and-forth between Paul and Woodley, they settled it in the boxing ring and put on a show for the fans at Rocket Mortgage Arena. It was a big test for Paul, who had finished all of his previous fights and hadn’t experienced the fatigue of fighting in the later rounds.
Both fighters had their strong moments in the fight, with Woodley stunning Paul with a big right hand in the fourth and Paul being the more active fighter overall. Paul showed off his ability to maintain his signature power over eight rounds with a combat sports veteran in Woodley.

After the fight, Woodley called for a rematch with Paul and claimed that he won the bout, despite Paul landing more volume during the fight, especially in the later rounds. Paul has previously communicated his interest in potentially fighting Tommy Fury next, who beat Anthony Taylor by unanimous decision earlier in the evening.
