Florida football legend Tim Tebow made his prediction for the Florida-Alabama game and it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.
You wouldn’t expect Tim Tebow to predict Florida to lose, would you?
Of course not.
On SEC Nation on Saturday morning, Tebow predicted his Florida Gators would upset the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide later this afternoon.
Florida did come the closest to beating Alabama last year when the Tide went undefeated and won the national championship.
But Tebow is clearly picking with his heart and not his head.
Tim Tebow predicts Florida will upset Alabama
Not only does Tebow predict Florida will upset Alabama, but the former Heisman winner and two-time national champion predicts they’ll give the Tide a “whoopin'” which would definitely be shocking.
Alabama entered the game as a 14.5-point favorite for the road game at The Swamp in Gainesville. Perhaps Florida can keep it close enough to cover the spread if they get some late scores when Alabama took their foot off the gas. If Tebow is right and Florida upsets Alabama, then you can expect him to puff out his chest the rest of the weekend.
The most likely outcome is Tebow cries just as he did when Alabama gave him a whoopin in the SEC Championship Game in his senior year.
