Tua Tagovailoa injured: Tua hip injury was immediately a cause for concern

It’s yet to be determined what the specific injury Tua suffered was, but fans are having flashbacks to the brutal hip injury he suffered in his final season at Alabama.

Walking off the field, it looked like Tua was favoring his ribs, but Dolphins fans can’t be blamed for fearing that he may have re-aggravated the hip injury that caused his draft stock to be questioned when he was coming into the NFL a few years ago. There was no question that a healthy Tua was a top prospect in the draft — if not the best quarterback in his draft class at the time — but the injury was a massive red flag.
