1. Eagles vs Cowboys predictions: Eagles will win 31-24

In the Eagles and Cowboys first matchup of the season, the Philadelphia Eagles will go into Jerry’s World and beat the Dallas Cowboys. The main difference in this game will be defense.

The Cowboys passing defense, or lack thereof, has been covered. The Eagles on the other hand have played solid defense through two games. In Week 1, they were able to keep the Atlanta Falcons out of the end zone, only giving up two field goals and allowing 260 total yards of offense. In Week 2, they limited the San Francisco 49ers to 17 points and 306 yards of total offense.

Now obviously, neither the Falcons or 49ers offense is as talented as the Dallas Cowboys offense. But fortunately for the Eagles, the Cowboys defense isn’t as talented as the Eagles defense. This game will be decided on which defense can make more big plays and limit the other offense. The Dallas Cowboys passing defense haven’t done much limiting this season. Their inability to do so will result in a Week 3 victory for the Philadelphia Eagles.
