Cowboys gift Eagles TD on Dak Prescott fumble (Video)

The Dallas Cowboys gave an easy touchdown to the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night, personally delivered by quarterback Dak Prescott.

Things were not going the Philadelphia Eagles’ way on Monday night, as they surrendered an early touchdown to the Dallas Cowboys, followed by quarterback Jalen Hurts throwing an interception on their first drive of the game.

But the Eagles’ luck changed immediately after the interception. On second-and-six, Dak Prescott dropped back into his own end zone and fumbled the ball after Eagles defensive lineman Javon Hargrave sacked him. Star defensive tackle Fletcher Cox easily grabbed the football and secured the touchdown, tying things up 7-7.

Prescott personally delivered that touchdown to Cox to officially make the game interesting. If you thought things could not get any worse for Dallas, you are wrong.

The Cowboys marched down the field and seemingly scored a touchdown on a five-yard pass from Prescott to running back Ezekiel Elliott. However, an official replay review determined that Elliott was one-yard short. Dallas went for it on fourth down, which saw Prescott attempt to run the ball up the middle. The officials deemed he did not break the plane. After head coach Mike McCarthy threw the challenge flag, the ruling on the field was upheld, which generated a meme-worthy reaction from Prescott on the sidelines.

That opening drive by Dallas seems like a distant memory, doesn’t it?
