The Las Vegas Raiders look to get back into the win column when the Chicago Bears come to town in Week 5.

While the Las Vegas Raiders were technically the last undefeated team in the AFC, they still lost the Week 4 finale on Monday Night Football to the division rival Los Angeles Chargers.

Though the Raiders in a great spot at 3-1 on the year, they need to take care of business in a winnable game when the 2-2 Chicago Bears make their way to Sin City. This is a game the Raiders have to have if the Silver and Black want any hopes of winning the AFC West for the first time in decades. Otherwise, they will have to settle for an AFC Wild Card spot. They cannot lose this game.

Here are five bold predictions for the Raiders for when they take on the Bears at home in Week 5.

Las Vegas Raiders: 5 bold predictions vs. Chicago Bears in Week 5

5. Josh Jacobs cracks 75 yards on the ground for the Raiders’ rushing attack

After missing the two previous games, Josh Jacobs returned as the featured back of the Raiders’ rushing attack. While he did rush for a season-high vs. the Bolts, he only had 40 yards on 13 carries. Averaging a tick over three yards per rush is not going to cut it for the Pro Bowl back. However, there is a good chance the Raiders could be playing from ahead in this one vs. Chicago.

To say Jacobs is going to break the century mark on Sunday is too bold of a proclamation at this time. However, he might be getting closer to 20 carries on the ground vs. the Bears. If that is the case, he stands a very strong possibility of rushing for over 75 yards on the afternoon. That will go a long way towards the Raiders getting to a very strong 4-1 record through their first five games.

Chicago might be stout defensively, but the Bears have a ways to go on the offensive side of the ball. If the Raiders can be methodical in the passing game, it could help open up the run to close out the game for the Silver and Black. Should Las Vegas want to be a playoff-caliber team this year, they are going to need to have a rushing attack it can lean on in crunch time featuring Jacobs.

Not only will Jacobs break his season-high rushing total, but he stands a great shot to double it.
