Marquez Callaway and Carson Wentz are among the top five fantasy football pickups to help you pick up a win in Week 6.

The first five weeks of the NFL season have been relatively smooth sailing for fantasy football owners since all of their players (barring injuries) have been available. The real challenge begins in Week 6 when the New York Jets, Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers kick off the bye season with a week off and the other 28 teams follow in the next nine weeks.

Let’s take a look at the Week 6 waiver wire for five players who can help out your fantasy roster both immediately and in the bye weeks. All players listed here are available in more than 50 percent of leagues on Yahoo Sports.

5. Top fantasy football pickups for Week 6 – Indianapolis Colts QB Carson Wentz

If you are reading this article on Monday morning you can go grab Wentz right now ahead of the waiver period, which can be helpful if you are trying to find a fill-in for the injured Russell Wilson. Wentz may have a tough time on Monday night against the Baltimore Ravens but his upcoming schedule is juicy for fantasy purposes.

The Colts play three divisional games in the next seven weeks, allowing Wentz the opportunity to feast on their questionable defenses, as well as the New York Jets. T.Y. Hilton is also on the mend and could return soon from injured reserve, adding a big-play wide receiver to help Wentz out even more.

Rostered in just 13 percent of Yahoo leagues, Wentz is a good fill-in for Wilson owners and a potential plug-and-play starter in Week 6 against the Houston Texans.
