Viacheslav Borshchev knocked out Chris Duncan during the latest episode of Dana White’s Contender Series and then celebrated accordingly.
It didn’t take long for lightweight prospect Viacheslav Borshchev to make his presence felt on Dana White’s Contender Series, as he viciously knocked out Chris Duncan with a stiff left hook in the second round.
Remarkably, his celebration afterward might’ve been even better than the knockout itself.
Borshchev showed patience on the feet in the opening minutes against Duncan, but quickly found his range and secured the finish. He shocked everyone in attendance, including UFC president Dana White.
Borshchev earned a shot on DWCS after a successful run in Titan FC, securing back-to-back knockouts over Corey Dulaney and Kendly St. Louis. He trains out of Team Alpha Male among some of the best fighters in the sport’s history, including Urijah Faber and Cody Garbrandt.
