Green Bay Packers’ punter Corey Bojorquez decimated any hope the Chicago Bears had at decent field position with this one.

In a game that many had anticipated to be much closer than it is, the Green Bay Packers have had everything going their way thus far. A dominant lead, 298 yards from scrimmage, almost five more minutes in possession time, a turnover that had more to do with the officials, and now the longest punt of the season.

After a great defensive stand gives the Chicago Bears a shot at great field position, things were starting to potentially look better for Bears’ fans. Any points would make it a one-score game, and the faster that happens, the better.

However, Corey Bojorquez, who the Packers picked up in a late offseason trade from the Buffalo Bills, had other plans for the Bears. Snapping the ball from the 18, but standing and punting from the 7, Bojorquez boots a bomb of a punt inside the opposing 20, where it then bounces and rolls into the endzone.

Bojorquez, who had the longest punt of the season last year when he played for the Buffalo Bills, put this ball 76 yards down the field before it even hit the ground.

The Bears would actually drive the field after this punt and grab a touchdown, although the long field and extra time required to do so will likely aid the Packers in beating their divisional rival.

Despite a turbulent offseason, the Green Bay Packers are off to a 4-1 start to the season and look to be cruising to another divisional title. The Chicago Bears on the other hand continue to struggle, held back by bad coaching and even worse upper management.
