Week 7 of fantasy football season is here, and with bye weeks in full effect, finding exploitable matchups is crucial in your matchup or daily fantasy lineups.

A lot of players have great fantasy weeks regardless of who they are playing, but some excel in favorable matchups. It’s key to identify those matchups that could benefit you in your fantasy leagues.

Let’s take a look at a few players who have favorable matchups in Week 7. You’ll want to make sure to plug these guys in.

Best fantasy football matchups for Week 7

5. RB Darrel Williams, KC vs. Tennessee Titans

Darrel Williams assumed full starter duties for the Chiefs in Week 6 due to the injury of Clyde Edwards-Helaire. He delivered from a fantasy standpoint, carrying the ball 21 times for 62 yards and two touchdowns. While the yardage wasn’t spectacular, he cashed in on two goal-line opportunities and his touchdown upside going forward is huge.

His passing game work was split with Jerick McKinnon, however, which limits his upside as a true workhorse back while CEH is out. But with the amount of goal-line looks he receives, he still possesses massive upside.

The Titans’ defense has been fairly lackadaisical in 2021, and Williams should have no problem repeating his week 6 success in a game where the Chiefs will have to counter Derrick Henry with a run game of their own.
