1. Aaron Rodgers will rush for 40+ yards

Rodgers isn’t in the same class as the league’s most mobile quarterbacks like Lamar Jackson and Josh Adams. That doesn’t mean he’s a statue in the pocket though. He still has the wheels required to make a play or two with his legs when his team really needs it.

The sheer amount of pressure that Washington’s going to bring in his direction on Sunday will necessitate more running than normal from Rodgers. Most of that will be designed to open up throwing lanes down the field, but on several occasions, he’s going to be forced to tuck the ball and grind out the yards available to him on the ground.

Washington’s penchant to blitz and still play man-to-man defense will give Rodgers a few key opportunities to break off decently sized runs. He’ll find just enough daylight to notch three double-digit runs on the afternoon.

Don’t be surprised if one of those runs earns a big first down that serves to deal a cruel philosophical blow to the Washington defense. Rodgers is too clever for the scheme Rivera and his defensive staff is going to throw at him this weekend. He’ll find success on the ground and through the air.
