The NBA finished revealing their illustrious 75th Anniversary Team on Thursday but Warriors guard Klay Thompson had a bone to pick with being snubbed.

It’s been quite a while since we’ve seen Klay Thompson suit up for the Golden State Warriors as the sharpshooting guard recovered from a torn ACL only to then tear his Achilles, which has kept him out of game action for more than two years.

Apparently in his absence, the NBA must have forgotten just how good he is — at least that’s how Thompson sees it.

On Thursday, the league finished their reveal of the 75th Anniversary Team featuring the 76 greatest players in the history of the league. Thompson was not included on that list but took to Instagram after the final names were revealed to, in essence, say that he feels like he got snubbed.

Klay Thompson thinks he’s a snub from the NBA 75th Anniversary Team

When it comes to professional athletes, in the NBA or otherwise, their confidence is truly one of the reasons they’ve made it to the heights they have. So Klay Thompson’s sentiment is probably a large reason why the Warriors star has been as good as he has been when healthy.

With that said, Thompson — at the very least in his own mind — is among a number of great players who didn’t make the cut for the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team.

Tracy McGrady, Vince Carter, Adrian Dantley, Dwight Howard and many others were left off the list, though four of Howard’s current Lakers teammates did earn the honor of being included on the team.

Perhaps this will just be motivation for Klay Thompson to come back better than ever when he makes his return to the Warriors in the early parts of the 2021-22 season, much to the delight of NBA fans.

Klay Thompson’s latest comments should be pure joy for Warriors’ fans. dark. Next
