3 Dodgers players who won’t be back in 2022

These three members of the Los Angeles Dodgers are more than likely not returning to the team in the 2022 season.
The Los Angeles Dodgers entered the 2021 season looking to defend their World Series championship. That is never an easy task, and that was evident with the historic season that the San Francisco Giants had in 2021. They may have defeated the Giants, but they ran into the red-hot Atlanta Braves.
On Saturday, the Dodgers lost 4-2 in Game 6 of the NLCS, allowing the Braves to advance to the World Series for the first time since 1999. The Dodgers have a ton to do this offseason if they plan on being the favorites to win the NL pennant on a yearly basis. But, it is never a guarantee that the team can bring everyone back.
Here are three players unlikely to return to the Dodgers in 2021.
Cole Hamels
Cole Hamels was coming off an injury-riddled stint with the Braves. The former Philadelphia Phillies and Chicago Cubs left-hander only pitched in one game in the 2020 season due to left shoulder inflammation dating back to Spring Training earlier that year and was shut down after he said he felt weakness in the shoulder.
After holding a workout with teams this year, the Dodgers took a chance on signing Hamels on a one-year deal. Unfortunately for them, Hamels did not pitch in a single game for Los Angeles, as he hit the 60-day injured list due to feeling pain in his left arm.
Hamels is going to attempt another comeback, but it probably won’t be with the Dodgers.
