Paul Felder stepped in to save the UFC Vegas 14 card on just five days notice when he replaced former lightweight champion, Rafael dos Anjos’ opponent. Dos Anjos will be making his lightweight return after many years in the welterweight division and looks to recapture the glory he once had at 155 pounds.

"I loved the match-up. I know he is young and coming off a loss with a lot to prove and like a 14-week fight camp. I knew the guy would be ready, I’m always ready. I’ve had all my amateur, pro, kickboxing, boxing, MMA matches, coming up to 40 fights, I never had one bad, ill-prepared fight camp. I knew he would be tough to finish. I thought he would have good cardio, but man he had a good chin, landed some good shots. I hit the takedown a little later than planned, but hit it and then after seeing the effect of work on the ground, I wish I had done it a little bit earlier. (…) I’m happy with the performance even though I didn’t get the finish, but that will wear off."
