In another NFL cross-team recruiting attempt, Green Bay Packers Davante Adams is making it clear he wants Odell Beckham Jr. to join his team.

When Davante Adams wants to play with someone, he puts it all out there — literally. On social media, he makes it abundantly clear that he wants his team to sign certain players in Green Bay.

It happened earlier this season when former Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore became available, and Adams made an unofficial play to recruit the 2019 Defensive Player of the Year to the Packers.

Adams told Gilmore to call him before finding out later that Gilmore signed with the Carolina Panthers. Defeated, Adams tweeted about how Gilmore “never called…”

Now, Adams has his hopes up again with Odell Beckham Jr. on the market and the Packers as one of the teams reportedly interested in him. Adams is interested too, saying that his hopes are “pretty high” that Green Bay signs him.

Like Odell Beckham Sr., Adams appears to be disappointed with OBJ’s lacking usage while he was a Cleveland Brown.

“He had one catch for six yards in his last game,” Adams said. “I can guarantee we can get him more than that over here.”

It seems that coach Matt LaFleur is also interested in getting OBJ more as a Green Bay Packer, but officially, he can’t guarantee anything at the moment. LaFleur smiled and declined to comment when asked about it, but said that it was “a great question” on how they would use Beckham Jr. if they had him.

With everything currently going on in Green Bay, it makes sense why LaFleur and Adams would be interested in adding Beckham Jr. to boost their offense.

While Adams is the clear superstar of the offense, there’s still room for another playmaker to bond with Aaron Rodgers once he returns from COVID-19 quarantine. Sitting atop the NFC North at 7-2, the Packers are poised to make playoffs — and a wideout duo of Adams and OBJ paired with Rodgers would definitely see them through.
