Ben Roethlisberger will throw an interception

Ben Roethlisberger hasn’t thrown an interception since Week 4 against the Packers. As well as he has protected the ball, there have been several close calls. He threw two passes right in the lap of Broncos linebacker Alexander Johnson in Week 5, which could have altered the outcome. Against Chicago, Ben threw a pass to Dionate Johnson on the sideline that was nearly picked, as well. If not for Johnson tipping the ball and altering its direction.

Ben has played well during this win streak, but the arm is starting to have more of those moments that speed up the heart rate of Steelers fans. He had a pass slip out of his hands Monday night that was ruled incomplete. Ben had that exact same thing happen to him against the Seahawks, but he pulled the ball back in completely and it was ruled a fumble. Roethlisberger also had a pass down the seam to James Washington that had more hang time than any of Pressley Harvin’s punts.

Eventually, the future Hall of Famer is going to hang a ball in the air for too long, and a defender will come down with it. The Steelers have the defense to make up for turnovers, and they will have to do so this weekend.
