10 RB sleepers to target for fantasy football Week 10
By Nick Villano
5. Myles Gaskin – Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins are still fantasy-relevant? This is a team that is terribly frustrating, but that’s how people get ahead in these later weeks of the fantasy season. Going safe could lead to losses. Taking bold stances on players could lead to big weeks. That could absolutely happen with Myles Gaskin this week.
Gaskin had terrible averages this past season, but he’s finally getting the volume. He had 20 carries and 6 receptions last week. That’s huge. He only had 34 yards rushing, which is a problem within itself, but the volume is where to really follow his game right now. He was also on the field for 72 percent of the offensive snaps. That’s his biggest snap share of the season by far. Hopefully, this means the Dolphins are trusting him more, because the Fins are taking on a Baltimore Ravens defense that is looking to pounce on Tua Tagovailoa. Gaskin could find some holes and make a few big plays.
4. Darrell Henderson Jr. – Los Angeles Rams
Darrell Henderson Jr. is taking on a San Francisco 49ers team that has allowed 10 touchdowns total to running backs this season. The Rams are looking to really destroy the 49ers’ chances to get back into the playoff race. They can do that with a consistent running game. Henderson has been as consistent as anyone this season, and he is a must-start this week.
Henderson doesn’t have a 100-yard rushing game this season, so he has been a little too touchdown-dependent for our liking, but to his credit, he is scoring those touchdowns. Cooper Kupp has been an anomaly on the field, so the passing game is crushing teams. This week, the Rams won’t need that. The defense is going to have itself a day against Garoppolo, despite the fact we like the running back to have a good game.
