1. Top Week 12 fantasy football pickups – Tennessee Titans WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine

Perhaps the most stunning result of Week 11 was the Titans losing at home to the 1-8 Texans. It appears that injuries have finally caught up to the Tennessee offense, which was already without Derrick Henry and Julio Jones while A.J. Brown seems to suffer in-game injuries on a weekly basis.

Brown checked out of Tennessee’s loss twice with hand and chest issues, creating target opportunities for the rest of the Titans’ wide receiving corps. The biggest beneficiary was Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, who caught 7-of-8 targets for 107 yards on the afternoon.

That kind of target share is encouraging for Westbrook-Ikhine, who doesn’t have to contend with Jones or recently released Josh Reynolds in the passing game. Tennessee surely prefers to run the football, but the struggles that the Titans have had rushing without Henry have forced more of the offensive workload onto Ryan Tannehill’s shoulders, meaning more passes could be going out against the New England Patriots in Week 12.

Rostered in less than one percent of Yahoo leagues, Westbrook-Ikhine is a worthy add in PPR leagues as a flex consideration. If Brown were to go down Westbrook-Ikhine would also ascend to the top of the Titans’ depth chart, making him the top pickup of the week.
