Chiefs players post tributes to Demaryius Thomas

The news of Demaryius Thomas’ death has impacted many across the NFL, including members of the Kansas City Chiefs, a team he competed against.

When the news of Demaryius Thomas’ death broke, many in the NFL were impacted. Thomas spent 10 years in the league, playing for four teams along the way. In that amount of time, there were plenty of opportunities for Thomas to have a personal impact on players around the league.

Many are mourning Thomas’ death and that includes a team he faced frequently during his time with the Denver Broncos: the Kansas City Chiefs. Multiple members of the Chiefs took to twitter to share their thoughts and emotions regarding Thomas’ passing.

The list of players who were in some way connected to Thomas is extensive. That includes the folks he played with and those he played against. Many players took the opportunity to grieve and share their memories of Thomas.

That includes two former teammates of Thomas from his time with the Houston Texans, Tyrann Mathieu and Martinas Rankin. While Rankin is not a member of the Chiefs at the moment, he was in 2019 and 2020. Both played alongside Thomas in 2018.

Thomas’ death surprised many and now the NFL world is mourning. Thomas and his legacy will be remembered for years to come.
