With the finalists set and the ceremony scheduled for the city its traditionally hosted in, it’s time to present the 2021 Heisman Trophy to its winner.

This year’s Heisman Trophy ceremony is finally here.

The presentation of college football’s most prestigious award is set to take place as Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Bryce Young, Pittsburgh Panthers quarterback Kenny Pickett, Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback CJ Stroud, and Michigan Wolverines defensive end Aidan Hutchinson have been named the finalists for the award.

So, when will the 2021 Heisman Trophy ceremony take place? What time will the award be given out?

The 2021 Heisman Trophy ceremony will take place on Saturday, Dec. 11

The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Dec. 11 in New York City. The ceremony will get started around 8 p.m. ET., but it will take a little bit of pageantry and celebration before the award is actually presented to this season’s recipient.

With the way the ceremony tends to progress, expect the actual presentation of the award to take place closer to 9 p.m. ET.
