The Las Vegas Raiders are done for the season, so now they get to look ahead to their future and figure out what their next steps are.

Well, this weird and tumultuous season is finally over for the Las Vegas Raiders. Despite their best efforts, Derek Carr and the Raiders weren’t able to overcome the Cincinnati Bengals (or bad refs) and, as a result, they’re done for this season.

Now, the Raiders need to move ahead and focus on their future.

According to Carr, the Raiders already have their head coach. Carr believes Rich Bisaccia should continue to hold onto the job.

Las Vegas Raiders: Derek Carr shows support for possible head coaching candidate

Carr showing some loyalty to Bisaccia could actually do something to help the latter’s chances at landing the job. It never hurts to hire someone who might fit in well with the locker room or someone who understands the ins and outs of what is going on within the organization. Bisaccia checks both of those boxes.

While he’s never been a head coach outside of this stint as an interim head coach, Bisaccia has plenty of coaching experience throughout his career. He’s someone who could potentially be able to guide this team forward if the Raiders decide to trust him.

There’s something to be said about maintaining a steady, consistent workplace and not overhauling everything that the Raiders have going for them right now. During his time as interim head coach, Bisaccia was able to help the Raiders somewhat salvage their season. It wasn’t perfect, but he got them to the playoffs. Las Vegas ended the regular season on a four-game winning streak and showed some potential.

Of course, it would be hard to fault the Raiders for cleaning house and starting over with someone new at the helm.
