As the Dallas Cowboys struggled and underachieved in the NFL Playoffs, here are three names Dallas should consider moving on from.

The Dallas Cowboys had an absolutely terrible evening as they completely fell on their faces when facing the San Francisco 49ers. San Francisco exposed just about every fault that Dallas had and took advantage of every single penalty and mental mistake the Cowboys made.

And the Cowboys made quite a few mistakes.

Now, it’s time for Dallas to move forward. Where does Dallas go from here? Who do they move on from? Here are three names they should consider parting ways with as they try to move forward.

3 Dallas Cowboys that shouldn’t be back after falling flat in NFL Playoffs

Mike McCarthy

Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy is not going to be a popular man in North Texas. The folks in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex will not be thrilled with the way a talented Cowboys roster underachieved this year.

Many will point to the reputation that McCarthy has been attached to the coach for the way his teams have performed over the years. And with another one of his teams underachieving, it’s probably time for the Cowboys to go ahead and move on from McCarthy.

There have been multiple moments throughout the season that have shown that McCarthy might not necessarily be the best coach. Plenty of people have been critical of him for the way a team this talented struggled on a couple different occasions. But a playoff loss like this? Well, that’ll make folks even more upset with the head coach.
