Cardinals safety Budda Baker posted on Twitter that he’s feeling good

There’s a huge amount of relief after seeing that tweet from Baker. The All-Pro defensive back was able to move his arms before leaving the stadium in Los Angeles, which was also fantastic to see. Now, Baker is telling everyone that this isn’t as serious as many feared.

Ever since being drafted out of the University of Washington, Baker has been a fantastic talent in the NFL for the Cardinals. Known for his speed and big hits, Baker earned Second-Team All-Pro honors for his efforts this past campaign.

On the year, Baker posted 98 tackles, two sacks and a career-high three interceptions. In five of his professional seasons, Baker has posted at least 100 tackles. Twice he’s been named First-Team All-Pro.

While Monday’s injury was frightening to see, it’s great for Cardinals fans to see that Baker is in high spirits. Unfortunately for the team, they suffered a lopsided loss to LA and their 2021 season is now over. Looking forward, Baker will now rehab from his injury and try to get himself ready for a big 2022.
