The Baylor Bears and Kansas Jayhawks have tough road matchups on tap, placing them among this week’s most popular college basketball upset picks.

The upset has been a theme in college basketball this season as a series of shocking results has thrown the AP Top 25 into turmoil. The top spot in the poll has now changed hands five times after Baylor became the first AP No. 1 to ever lose two home games in a row, leading Gonzaga to a narrow claim on that spot ahead of Auburn.

True road games are often the breeding ground for upsets, a fact that Alabama and Seton Hall learned the hard way last week. Let’s take a look at this week’s most interesting college basketball upset picks, beginning with a potential third straight loss for Baylor.

Upset Alert: Week 11 College Basketball Upset Picks

Note: All games listed in this story were on the schedule as of post time. COVID-19 related issues can lead to postponements at any time.

No. 5 Baylor at West Virginia – Tuesday

The Bears are coming off two straight home losses and now have to hit the road to take on a pissed-off West Virginia team that is looking to bounce back from a beating at Allen Fieldhouse against Kansas on Saturday. The Mountaineers are a perfect 10-0 in Morgantown and have a tremendous opportunity to take down Baylor in this matchup.

No. 7 Kansas at Oklahoma – Tuesday

The Big 12 is a meat grinder that can wear down even the most talented teams. Kansas has already lost one road game at Texas Tech and could drop another if they don’t take the Sooners seriously enough. Oklahoma has been a difficult out in Norman, scoring three victories over ranked opponents at home, and the Jayhawks could be the Sooners’ next victim on Tuesday.

No. 12 Kentucky at Texas A&M – Wednesday

Everyone is focused on Saturday’s massive showdown between Kentucky and Auburn but the Wildcats have to navigate a very dangerous road game at Texas A&M on Wednesday. The Aggies haven’t gotten a ton of hype nationally but they are 15-2 on the year, a run that includes a perfect 4-0 start in SEC play. There aren’t a ton of great wins on Texas A&M’s resume so they will be super motivated to take down a Wildcats team that could be looking ahead to the Auburn game.

No. 4 Purdue at Indiana – Thursday

The Boilermakers just went through an emotional double-overtime victory against Illinois on Monday and have to turn around quickly for this road trip to Bloomington against a quality Indiana team. The Hoosiers are undefeated at home this season and know they have to pick up big wins to offset questionable losses to Penn State and Syracuse. This game is dangerous for a Purdue team that hasn’t dominated Big Ten play like it is capable of doing.

No. 12 LSU at No. 24 Tennessee – Saturday

LSU made a big statement by sweeping Kentucky and Tennessee at home two weeks ago but now the Tigers have to square off with the Volunteers again in Knoxville. Tennessee is barely hanging onto its Top 25 slot but is dangerous at home, where it knocked off Arizona for the Wildcats’ only loss of the season. Rick Barnes’ team will also have revenge on its mind after falling by 12 to the Tigers in Baton Rouge, making this a very dangerous game for LSU to win.
