4. Both teams have a defensive score

For most of their win against the Buccaneers this past weekend, the Rams defense was outstanding, holding a 27-3 lead in the second half. However, they faltered down the stretch, allowing Tom Brady to come back, nearly shockingly beating Los Angeles late.

In this one, I believe the Rams defense is going to have a big day, but I also believe that the 49ers will follow suit. Both quarterbacks tend to make bonehead throws from time to time, and both defenses have great pass rushers, so a fumble or a touchdown, or a pick-six by both teams could be in the cards in this one.

3. Both quarterbacks throw multiple interceptions

Going back to what we said about the quarterbacks, both Matthew Stafford and Jimmy Garoppolo have at least a few throws per game that leave you scratching your head. In their win against Green Bay, Jimmy G had a few passes that should have been pick-sixes, and while Stafford has been flawless this postseason, this is the best defense he will have faced to date.

The bigger question is how many interceptions will be thrown in this game, as there is so much riding on this matchup, and quarterbacks can try to force things late in games. Both signal-callers are veterans, but for Stafford, this is the biggest game of his career, so while Jimmy G is likely to throw a few to the other team, the former No. 1 overall pick likely will too.
