Despite being in his age-37 season, LeBron James continues to impress with his amazing play for the Los Angeles Lakers. While James has missed the past three games due to knee swelling, the superstar has Lakers fans believing that this team can bounce back and make some noise in the playoffs.

Although there’s no definite date for when James will take the hardwood next, he’s currently tied with Kobe Bryant with 1,346 appearances. So, the next time James does suit up, he’ll be passing Bryant in that category.

James of course has an unreal amount of respect for the late Bryant. The two will go down as Lakers legends. For James, he’s been able to win one NBA Finals with the team, and LA supporters are hoping he can bring home another title or two before he ends up hanging up his sneakers.

Thus far in 2021-22, James is leading the team with his 29.1 points per game. James is also adding 7.7 rebounds and 6.3 assists a night. One of the best NBA players of all time, James is of course a lock for the Hall of Fame whenever he does retire.

That isn’t expected to come soon, however, as James continues to play at an incredible level. Injuries have been piling up for James, which has Lakers fans concerned. With that said, his current knee troubles aren’t serious and head coach Frank Vogel is expecting him back sooner than later. And once he is back at a full go for the Lakers, all eyes will be on James to see if he can help this team go on a hot streak and start playing to their potential.
