LeBron James may have thought filming Space Jam was a good idea, but it’s clear his acting skills are nowhere close to what he can do on the hardwood.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James will go down as arguably the best of all time. The same 100 percent will not be said about his acting career. From the moment it was announced that James was going to film ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy,’ people knew it was a bad idea.

Why in the world would James remake the Michael Jordan classic? While Jordan didn’t win an Oscar, at least he didn’t take home a Razzie. James is now in jeopardy of taking home that embarrassing award.

LeBron James being nominated for a Razzie should come as no surprise

If you saw James’ movie, then you know it was a terrible performance. Expectations were low, but James and his co-stars somehow went below things. In case you’re not familiar with the Golden Raspberry Awards (the Razzies), it’s the event held annually for the worst of the worst in the movie world.

Not only was ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’ nominated for worst picture, but James also picked up a bad acting nomination. Again, this shouldn’t stun anyone out there.

Entering the new NBA campaign, James had hopes of leading the Lakers to an NBA Finals crown. Now, the team is on the outside looking in for the playoffs, with frustrations growing in LA. Imagine if James misses out on the postseason, and takes home two Razzies instead? The James haters would have a field day all over social media. The 2022 Razzies will be held on Saturday, March 26. It could turn out to be a night to remember – or to forget – for James.
