Odell Beckham Jr. isn’t thrilled with how things in Cleveland ended, which resulted in him signing with the Los Angeles Rams.

While it worked out in the long run, OBJ knows it wasn’t a good look to leave Cleveland the way he did. Beckham Jr.’s father, Odell Beckham Sr., sent smoke signals around the NFL, essentially acting as a mouthpiece for his son.

Add in some Baker Mayfield slander, and Beckham Jr. came away looking like a diva, even if he never intended to do so.

"“One of the biggest regrets that I have about the way things ended is I just didn’t get — it’s like having a breakup but there really was no closure and it’s kind of just like you go, that’s just it,” Beckham said, per Pro Football Talk. “One thing I’ve always been big on in my life is closure. Because I feel like if doors are not closed, they’re always still open. Just having to leave, leave these guys that are your brothers, you have lifetime friendships with, and it just happened so abruptly. A lot of things were out of my control. By the time I woke up, the video was already posted, it just was unfortunate. Sometimes things go that way in life and you just have to roll with the punches. I just think about, here I am now and just making the most of the opportunity that I have.”"

Odell Beckham Jr. gets chance at Super Bowl glory

While he might not love how things ended in Cleveland, were he not cut in such a dramatic matter he never would’ve ended up in sunny Los Angeles, playing for a Super Bowl in his home stadium.

Beckham Jr. has been a force in Sean McVay’s offense since his arrival, really opening up the intermediate passing game for Matthew Stafford. He’s another reliable target next to All-Pro wideout Cooper Kupp, which is something the Rams offense was missing at the time.
