NBA fans are still losing their minds after James Harden was traded by the Brooklyn Nets to the Philadelphia 76ers.

The NBA was flipped upside down on Thursday when things got across the finish line and James Harden was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers. Rumors had been swirling for a while, and things finally got completed between Brooklyn and Philly.

For 76ers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey, he couldn’t have been happier to land Harden ahead of the deadline. You can see just how thrilled Morey was when he gave Harden a big hug shortly after he landed in Philadelphia to begin his 76ers career.

Philadelphia 76ers fans can’t wait for James Harden to make his debut

With the Ben Simmons soap opera now over in the City of Brotherly love, people all over town can’t wait to see what Harden will be able to get done suiting up with Joel Embiid. The team’s NBA Finals odds have skyrocketed, and 76ers fans really believe this team can take the next step with Harden getting ready to drill shots.

Harden wasn’t able to play in Philadelphia’s contests against the Thunder or Cavaliers following the trade, but all signs are pointing to him taking the hardwood for Tuesday night’s showdown with the Boston Celtics.

Thus far this season, Harden is averaging 22.5 points and 10.2 assists a night. He’s now got huge expectations with the 76ers, but the sharpshooter looks ready to deliver for his new team. There are plenty of Harden haters out there, with plenty, of course, being from Brooklyn.

Now, the veteran shooting guard will look to light up the floor with his new squad and silence everyone doubting him. Come Tuesday night, we should get to see him don his new uniform for the first time.
