Sending Tyreek Hill from the Kansas City Chiefs to the Miami Dolphins changes the order in the 2022 NFL Draft. Here is the updated NFL Draft order.

In another unbelievable day in the 2022 NFL offseason, Tyreek Hill wanted out of Kansas City, seeking a trade with the Miami Dolphins that officially made him the highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL.

While the Chiefs did offer Hill a lucrative deal, there wasn’t much they could do when their star wide receiver wanted more than they can offer. So, the Chiefs sought a haul for Hill, getting five draft picks in return for Hill, including three picks in 2022. In return for Hill, the Chiefs received a 2022 first-round pick, a 2022 second-round pick, a 2022, fourth-round pick, a 2023 fourth-round pick, and a 2023 sixth-round pick.

While the 2023 picks have yet to be determined, the 2022 picks already influence the order of the upcoming draft.

The Dolphins, who loaded up on draft capital under Brian Flores, were able to trade their remaining first-rounder acquired from San Francisco and leverage it in the Chiefs deal. That gives the Chiefs two first-round picks: No. 29 and No. 30 in the 2022 NFL Draft.
