NCAA Women’s Tournament bracket update 2022: Who made the Final Four?

Here is the updated bracket for the NCAA Women’s Tournament, with the Final Four now set.

Two spots in the Final Four of the NCAA Women’s Tournament were already taken entering Monday night, with South Carolina and Stanford clinching. Two games took place on Monday night for the final two berths.

Perhaps the most thrilling game of the night was between the No. 2 UConn Huskies and No. 1 North Carolina State Wolfpack. It took two overtimes, but it was the Huskies who walked out with a berth in the Final Four following a 91-87 win. Sophomore guard Paige Bueckers led the way for UConn, as he scored 27 points (10-for-15 from field), 15 of them coming in overtime.

As for the other game on the night, the No. 1 Louisville Cardinals defeated the No. 3 Michigan Wolverines 62-50, behind sophomore guard Hailey Van Lith’s 22 points.

Here is what the bracket for the 2022 NCAA Women’s Tournament looks like for the Final Four.

NCAA Women’s Tournament bracket update 2022: Who made the Final Four

The Final Four will take place on Friday, April 1, live from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minn.

Louisville will match up against the top-seeded South Carolina Gamecocks, who beat the No. 10 Creighton Bluejays 80-50 in their Elite Eight matchup. Louisville vs. South Carolina will tip off at 7:00 p.m. ET.

UConn is set to take on the No. 1 Stanford Cardinal, who eliminated the No. 2 Texas Longhorns with a 59-50 win. The Huskies and Cardinals will be the second game on April 1; it will take place at 9:30 p.m. ET.

The National Championship Game will be played on Sunday, April 3 in Minneapolis.
