Patrick Beverley may have a new partnership deal thanks to his post-game moment following the Minnesota Timberwolves win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

The NBA may have not liked Patrick Beverley’s behavior following his team’s win against the Los Angeles Clippers, but Bud Light felt otherwise. The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Clippers 109-104 on Tuesday night and Patrick Beverly could not contain his excitement.

He was so excited that during his post-game interview, he told reporters exactly what he said to his former teammates when the shot clock went to 0, via Sports Illustrated.

"“I told them to take they a– home,” Beverley said. “Long flight to L.A., take y’all a– home. It’s deeper than that for me. I gave my blood, sweat and tears to that organization. You guys know the story … to be written off like that … ‘He’s injury prone, he’s old,’ to be able to come here, play them in a play-in, beat their a–, no other feeling.”"

Patrick Beverley and the Timberwolves are off to the playoffs

Not only did he use profanity during his post-game interview, but he pulled out a can of Bud Light while his teammate Anthony Edwards was speaking. The NBA was unhappy with his behavior and fined him for his inappropriate comments.

Bud Light on the other hand offered to give Beverley his own can with his face on it. The can would also include his quote ” take they a– home”

The Timberwolves will face the Memphis Grizzlies Saturday in the opening round of the playoffs. If their celebration against the Clippers is any indication of what fans should expect from them, if they win this series, then Bud Light better start cranking out the cans.
