With ‘The Match’ set to take place on Wednesday evening, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers got one last dig in on Patrick Mahomes.

Mahomes and Josh Allen will take on Rodgers and Tom Brady this evening. While the golf itself takes centerstage at 7 p.m. ET, the trash talking has been immense in the lead-up to the annual event.

Despite Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson now having better things to do, ‘The Match’ has extended its reach by bringing in the best the NFL has to offer. Thankfully for the producers, plenty of NFL players, specifically quarterbacks, are into golf as well as an offseason activity.

Rather than attacking Mahomes specifically, he went after his family in a playful manner, bringing up Patrick’s brother Jackson Mahomes’ affinity for TikTok videos.

Oh my.

Rodgers and Mahomes are two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, and they’ll now be taking that level of competition to the golf course, as well.

While Mahomes, Allen and Rodgers have been tossing shots back and forth as part of their promotion for this event, no one has been louder than Tom Brady. TB12 seems to enjoy this activity more than most, if only because he has the stats to back up his talk.

Hey, getting paid to play amateur golf against quarterbacks you have eternal bragging rights against isn’t a bad gig for Brady. As for Rodgers, he might’ve just made a lifelong enemy in Mahomes, a player who by most accounts could be just as talented when all is said and done.
