Angela and Christian Lee’s babies are MMA stars in the making

Angela Lee and Cristian Lee have new titles to add to their illustrious MMA careers. 

ONE Championship atomweight champ Angela Lee and her younger brother, lightweight champion Christian Lee, became first-time parents this Spring. Angela gave birth to a daughter and Christian’s wife, Katie, also had a daughter, two weeks apart. Angela and her husband, ONE Championship featherweight Bruno Pucci, welcomed Ava Marie to the world on April 16, 2021.

Christian and his wife Kate welcomed Alia Mae Lee on May 1, 2021. In a touching post, Christian introduced the world to the adorable newborn.

Angela and Christian are notoriously close siblings, training together at the family gym, United MMA Hawaii. Both are wasting no time ensuring that their daughters grow up with a similar bond.

The future BFFs don’t just play together. Angela already has little Ava Marie in the gym, and Christian brings Alia Mae in for some training fun, following in the footsteps of the rest of the Lee family.

Angela Lee and Christian Lee are carrying on what their parents started

Angela and Christian are continuing the greatness started their parents started. Their father, Kevin Lee, holds black belts in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, pankration, and taekwondo. He is also a sixth-degree hapdosool master black belt and their head coach. Their mother, Jewelz Lee, is a two-time Canadian Silver Medalist who holds black belts in taekwondo and hapdosool as well. Since they owned several gyms, they knew that their children would learn at least one martial art.

The Lees introduced their children to martial arts practically as soon as they could walk, initially for self-defense purposes. However, Angela and Christian loved it so much that they were training in various disciplines and competing before long. The love for MMA doesn’t stop with the older two siblings. Younger siblings Victoria and Adrian also train. Victoria is currently the youngest fighter, male or female, to sign a professional fighting contract. She made her successful One Championship debut this past February at ONE: Fists of Fury.

Based on their pedigree, Ava Maria and Alia Mae won’t just be the cutest little competitors in their first competitions; they’ll likely be the most dangerous.
