Game 1 between the Dallas Wings and Connecticut Sun will be the early game for the second night of the WNBA Playoffs. Here’s how to watch.

These two teams were all over the map in their three meetings during the regular season. The Wings took two games, winning by eight and nine points. The Sun won the other matchup by 31 points, in one of the Wings’ worst losses of the season.

Injuries may play a huge role in this series. Satou Sabally is a game-time decision for the Wings and scorer Arike Ogunbowale will miss at least the first round with a hip injury. In their absence, the Wings have been increasingly relying on Teira McCowan in the middle and she’s averaged 16.2 points, 10.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game on 58.4 shooting over her last 13 games since entering the starting lineup.

Tipoff from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT will be at 8:00 p.m. ET, Thursday, August 18.

Here is what you need to know to watch the Wings take on the Sun in Game 1 of their first-round matchup in the WNBA Playoffs.

Dallas Wings vs. Connecticut Sun Game 1 prediction

Both teams have won five of their last seven games, but the Sun have been absolutely steamrolling people, outscoring opponents by an average of 14.7 points per 100 possessions over their last seven. McCowan has been hot and having Sabally back in the lineup will help, but the Sun are much deeper and should be able to expose Dallas’ lack of perimeter shot creation with Ogunbowale out of the lineup.

Prediction: Sun 85, Wings 68
