1-1. LAC -7. 4:05 p.m. ET. 1-1. CBS. Sunday, Oct. 2. 52. 13

I’m really, really tempted to pick Jacksonville. This is the classic Chargers game where they lose and nobody can explain it. Also, Justin Herbert’s ribs are a major concern. But Los Angeles is home, and too talented.

Pick: Los Angeles 26, Jacksonville 23

1-1. LAR -3.5. 4:25 p.m. ET. 32. 1-1. 51. FOX. Sunday, Oct. 2

Expect plenty of points. The Cardinals might have saved their season last Sunday in Las Vegas, while the Rams face a defense which can’t get a pass rush. Good news for Matthew Stafford.

Pick: Los Angeles 37, Arizona 31

FOX. Sunday, Oct. 2. 1-1. SEA -2. 0-2. 44. 36. 4:25 p.m. ET

Why would the NFL do this to us? In all seriousness, Geno Smith and Marcus Mariota are actually outperforming expectations thus far. Good for them.

Pick: Seattle 23, Atlanta 20

FOX. Sunday, Oct. 2. 2-0. 48. 4:25 p.m. ET. 1-1. TB -1.5. 49

Fascinating game. The Buccaneers are missing half their offense, and the Packers are still trying to get their offensive line completely healthy. This comes down to which pass rush wins out, and Green Bay has a more complete front.

Pick: Green Bay 24, Tampa Bay 19

NBC. Sunday, Oct. 2. 1-1. 45. 8:20 p.m. ET. 1-1. 42. SF -1.5

How could you pick Nathaniel Hackett to out-coach Kyle Shanahan right now? Also, with Jimmy Garoppolo, the Niners know what they’re getting. It’s impossible to ride with Russell Wilson and Co. at the moment.

Pick: San Francisco 24, Denver 19

ESPN. Monday, Oct. 3. 2-0. 31. 1-1. NYG -2.5. 8:15 p.m. ET. 123

The Giants can get to 3-0, but will they be able to block Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence? If they can, they win. But while left tackle Andrew Thomas is awesome, the rest of the group is suspect.

Pick: Dallas 24, New York 20
