Will Levis. 5. player. 50. . QB. Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions hold two picks in the first 12 selections in April, so the rebuild could be on in the Motor City. While the offense has not played badly this year, and Jared Goff has been solid, they turn the page at the position here by selecting Kentucky star Will Levis at No. 5 overall.

Levis is a guy who projects to have the highest ceiling of any of the quarterbacks in this draft class, but the Lions will have to make a concerted effort to put talent around him if they want him to reach it. Detroit has some talented offensive pieces, and Levis could be the final piece to the puzzle.

. DL. Philadelphia Eagles. Jalen Carter. 6. player. 54

Through nine weeks of the 2022 NFL season, only one team has yet to taste defeat. That team is the Philadelphia Eagles, who are getting outstanding play from Jalen Hurts, a quarterback many felt would not make it at the NFL level.

Instead, Hurts is playing at an MVP level, and he has the Eagles as legitimate contenders in not only the NFC East but the conference as a whole. With pick No. 6, a pick they have from the New Orleans Saints, the Eagles bolster the defense, taking another Jalen, Jalen Carter, a dominant defensive tackle from Georgia.
