4. Cameron Grimes is ready to go to the moon — and to the main roster.

As mentioned earlier, Grimes has already made an appearance on Monday Night Raw and seems to mesh well with some of the main roster guys. In the ring, Grimes brings a whole new level of energy and always has. One thing he has proven that many wrestlers can’t is that he works as both a face and as a heel. Not many wrestlers can successfully pull that off, but he has.

In a recent episode on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that WWE is in talks to bring up the former NXT North American Champion to the main roster. Let’s face it, he’s been one of the top stars in NXT since he debuted back in 2019, and has sustained that success throughout. He’s had some monumental matches against Sikoa, Carmelo Hayes, LA Knight, and many more.

It is moments like this where he shines the brightest.

Throughout the last year or so, he has improved significantly on the mic as well.

He may not be ready to take on Roman Reigns and headline WrestleMania, but there is no reason he wouldn’t fit right in with a feud with the Intercontinental Champion Gunther right now or a feud with Seth Rollins for the WWE United States Championship.

It’s been an enjoyable ride with Grimes on NXT but he is another name that will receive a call-up sooner rather than later.
