Floyd Mayweather Jr. stops YouTube sensation Deji via sixth round TKO on DAZN PPV.

It was yet another global event as boxing Hall of Famer Floyd Mayweather Jr. (50-0) faced Deji at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. This is the latest stop in the Mayweather exhibition tour as he continues to make these fights at locations where they may not have had the opportunity to see him fight while he was an active fighter. As expected, Mayweather pulled out the victory via a TKO stoppage in the sixth round against Deji.

In the first round, Mayweather started with his hands down. He was really taking things lightly in the ring and toying with Deji. Mayweather was making funny gestures and landing a jab here and there to touch up Deji and let him know he was still there to fight. The second round saw Mayweather playing with him some more and even joined the crowd in the Deji chants as he continued to make it look too easy in the ring. There were moments in the round when Mayweather was conversing with Deji’s corner, and clearly, he was not in danger of getting hit with a big shot.

The third round saw more of Mayweather being causal in the ring and landing a straight right hand that stunned Deji, but he didn’t try to finish him. He continued to enjoy himself while performing a spin move at the end of the round while dancing with his trainer. Deji landed a right hook in the fourth round that caused a swelling on the left eye of Mayweather. Afterward, Mayweather started to turn it up a bit and land harder shots. Mayweather was warned about his low blows, but he didn’t seem to care.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. earns an other exhibition victory as he TKOs Deji in the sixth round on DAZN PPV.

Mayweather started to increase the intensity of his punches in round five as he felt it was time to start closing this show. At the end of that round, it was Deji that began to do pushups in his corner, mocking the boxing great. In the sixth, Floyd was determined to put an end to this fight, and he was pressing the action. Then a Mayweather left hook landed, which rocked Deji and put him in full defense mode. Then Mayweather jumped on him, and Kenny Bayless stopped the fight. Mayweather earned a sixth-round TKO victory and did his best to entertain the crowd who stood there into the early hours of Monday morning.
