UFC 279: Nate Diaz vs. Tony Ferguson, Khamzat Chimaev vs. Kevin Holland, and Li Jingliang vs. Daniel Rodriguez opening betting odds.
After a wild series of events, beginning with Thursday’s press conference brawl with Khamzat Chimaev, Kevin Holland, and Nate Diaz camps… then ending with Friday’s massive weight failure by Chimaev, the UFC has flipped fights between Chimaev and Diaz to create a fan favorite matchup between “El Cucuy” Tony Ferguson and Stockton legend Diaz.
The opening betting odds for Diaz vs. Ferguson are -180 in Ferguson’s favor, following a lopsided matchup that saw Diaz as a +750 underdog against Chimaev. In Chimaev’s new matchup against Holland, “Borz” is a -450 favorite. In the 180-pound catchweight bout between Li Jingliang and Daniel Rodriguez, “D-Rod” is a -150 favorite against the “The Leech.”
