Kevin O’Connell’s entered Sunday on a seven-game roll. The Vikings were coming off a rousing overtime victory at Buffalo and were hosting the Cowboys.

But the Purple Gang never knew what hit them as quarterback Kirk Cousins was under pressure all afternoon. He was sacked seven times and lost a fumble. He threw for only 105 yards and the Minnesota offense was limited to 183 total yards –including just 73 yards on the ground in the 37-point loss.

John Harbaugh’s team was off a week ago and it showed early on against the visiting Panthers. The Ravens owned a 3-0 lead at halftime and quarterback Lamar Jackson had thrown an interception.

But this game belonged to the Baltimore defense as they held their guests to 208 total yards. The Ravens came up with 10 points in the fourth quarter, as well as three takeaways. The AFC North leaders have now won four consecutive games after a 3-3 start.

It was a short week for Mike Vrabel’s team as the Titans headed north to Lambeau Field for a Thursday night clash with the Packers. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill had a big evening, hitting on 22-of-27 throws for 333 yards and two scores (1 interception).

Tight end Austin Hooper caught touchdown passes from Tannehill and a leaping Derrick Henry. The Titans’ workhorse also ran for 87 yards and a score on 28 carries and caught two passes for 45 yards.
