UFC San Diego: Tyson Nam defeated Ode’ Osbourne.

Tyson Nam defeated Ode’ Osbourne via KO (strikes), Round 1 – 2:59 at UFC San Diego on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022, live from the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, CA.

“Two months tops, check me out on Instagram that’s where you will see the call out,” said Nam, who emphatically wanted to fight again as soon as possible.

The two fighters engaged in a back and forth fight that left commentators Daniel Cormier and Michael Bisping arguing about who was winning the first round. Not wanting the judges or commentators to decide who won the fight, Nam decided to end the fight in spectacular fashion. Osbourne jumped up looking for a flying knee. Nam was able to step back to avoid it. When Osborne landed, Nam landed a vicious right hook that sent Osbourne to the canvas. Nam rushed in and finished the fight after landing a few more punches.

Saturday’s fight was Nam’s return to the Octagon after an 18-month layoff. With the victory, Nam improved to 21-12-1, with 13 knockouts. Osbourne dropped to 11-5, with one no-contest.
