Dana White’s Contender Series returns for another Tuesday night of action-packed fights. One fighter to keep an eye on for week 7 is Vitor Petrino.

Week 6 of Dana White’s Contender Series ended in spectacular fashion with Yusaku Kinoshita‘s round 3 knockout of Jose Henrique, resulting in him being awarded a UFC contract. For week 7, 10 fighters vying for one of these highly-coveted contracts will face off for a chance to impress the big boss himself, Dana White. One fighter to keep an eye on is Vitor Petrino.

Hailing from Minas Gerais, Brazil, 25-year-old “Icão” Petrino Salvo (6-0) is ranked as Tapology‘s No. 30 active light heavyweight out of Brazil. Of his six wins, five have come by way of knockout, with four coming in the first round. He has previously fought in promotions such as UAE Warriors, Max Fight, and Adventure Fighters Tournament.

At DWCS week 7, Petrino will face fellow Brazilian light heavyweight Rodolfo Bellato (8-1). Bellato is ranked as Brazil’s No. 19, 11 spots above Salvo. Despite this, Bellato is coming in as a +165 underdog against the less experienced Petrino. This is because the only loss of Bellato’s career was in 2019 against Petrino, who finished him with a KO just 25 seconds into the first round.

Rodolfo Bellato’s only career loss was to Vitor Petrino at Max Fight 22 in 2019

These two Brazilian light heavyweights will face off once again for the main event of DWCS week 7 in a potentially career-changing fight. Other matchups for week 7 include welterweights Gabriel Bonfim vs. Trey Waters, heavyweights Jimmy Lawson vs. Kevin Szaflarski, lightweights Ismael Bonfim vs. Nariman Abbasov, and women flyweights Tereza Bledá vs. Nayara Maia.
