Bet this NFL wild card betting trend before it’s too late
The wild card round of the NFL Playoffs is nearly over, but there’s still time for you to cash in on the most profitable trend rolling. In fact, this might be the most opportune time yet.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Dallas Cowboys tonight with the OVER/UNDER set at 45.5. Based on the way things have gone so far, you should hammer the OVER ASAP.
Since 2004, the UNDER has been the most profitable bet during Wild Card weekend, going 50-30. This season, however, that’s done a 180 with the OVER going a perfect 5-0 so far.
Hell, even that Baltimore Ravens-Cincinnati Bengals slugfest went OVER, so you know this trend is hot.
The Cowboys have the fourth-highest-scoring offense in the NFL (27.5 points per game) while the Bucs clock in at a substandard 25th (18.4 PPG). But over their last three games, the Bucs are averaging 22.2 PPG. Over that same time, Dallas is averaging 24.3, not as high as 27.5, but still high enough to feel good about it scoring.
Trends were meant to be broken and, as mentioned earlier, the UNDER was on an extended heater during the NFL Wild Card round. But the tides are turning and I’m riding this home before it’s gone forever.
