Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham doesn’t have any time for trash talk from the New York Giants, who they defeated in the NFC Divisional Round.

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni rubbed some rival players the wrong way, specifically with how he celebrated his team’s Super Bowl run. That run included a win over the rival New York Giants in the divisional round.

Philadelphia disposed of the Giants with relative ease, defeating them 38-7. New York was never really in the game, and allowed the Eagles to walk all over them.

Still, New York safety Julian Love didn’t take kindly to Sirianni’s antics the last few weeks. On ‘Good Morning Football’, Love stated that Sirianni is “in for a free ride right now.”

“You guys can coach this team,” Love continued.

Brandon Graham wasn’t about to let those comments about his head coach fly.

“People always got something to say when they’re at home,” Graham said. “I just know that coach Sirianni — it don’t matter — what he did last year, with a team that nobody thought was gonna do much, he ended up getting us to the playoffs. Then for his second year, that’s what you’re supposed to do — you’re supposed to get better, bring players in to do exactly what you need them to do and we did that.”

Graham has a valid point — the Eagles have gotten better in Sirianni’s two seasons. They built an offense around Jalen Hurts, and for the most part they have succeeded in doing so. Hurts was an MVP candidate for much of the year, and Philly’s defense is as intimidating as they come.

“A lot of people just mad because of what happened this season and I understand. It definitely carried no weight because coach proved himself each and every day and if you’re not in here, you wouldn’t really know that. It’s just all lip service,” Graham continued.

Maybe one day the Giants will be at that podium, discussing their Super Bowl run. But for now, Graham has the right to respond and fire right back. Love and New York are one of the other 30 teams who failed to reach their ultimate goal.
